Prices for the new Sharebox Auto are not yet clear, but we are confident that our Pay&Drive concept will be highly attractive. We go straight into the problem of how the conservative car industry needs to find solutions to meet customer needs expectations. Customer trends such as digitalization and accessibility 24/7 makes demands on the industry that many are struggling to fulfill.

At the same time, the margin situation in the automotive industry is under intense pressure, and the fact that flexible ownership concepts changes how service and maintenance are done, the need for efficiency increases.

We believe it is possible to make ownership and workshop visits to a significantly more positive experience, while the workshops can keep costs down with our new solution.

Sharebox Auto is the solution the car industry has been waiting for to digitize customer communication before and after maintenance and repairs. Including a bank and payment system, customers can run their self-service experience on-the-go from their mobile phone outside business hours.

The secure cabinets will take care of keys 24/7 delivering the car for service. The workshop sends invoices through Sharebox and customers can make payment directly or slice it with Klarna. One click further and their key and car are available outside opening hours. The workshops do not need to serve a rush before closing and the payment are done before cars leave the shop.

The development has been carried out in collaboration with Scandinavia's largest free-standing workshop chain, MECA, which also take care of sales and distribution towards the 12.000 car repair shops in the Nordic countries.

The software system is based on proprietary technology, tested in the Airbnb market with over 100,000 check-in/out since 2017.

The software backend work with an open API and could exchange data with to the automotive industry's ERP systems: ADP, Cars, CDK, EG Notaplan, Future, HQ Rental, Helios Norway, InfoEasy, Møller, MekoEasy, Navision, PBS, Quick, Toyota, Visma and others.
